You can track either a URL or a domain. Choose a URL as the backlink target when you are building backlinks for content you don't own, such as a YouTube video or social media post.
Create link target
- On the sidebar, click "Add New" -> "Link Target."
- Choose the target type: domain or URL.
- Enter the target as a full URL (https://www.example.com/link) or domain (example.com).
- Optionally add a friendly name shown in statistics and campaign target selection instead of the URL or domain.
If you plan to track link-building campaigns across multiple pages on your site, choose the domain as the target.
